Day 1: Havana

Upon arrival in Havana, your Cuban vacation and experience will kickoff with pick up at the airport and an optional lunch. You will be able to soak in some of the best views of the city before checking-in to your hotel.

Day 2: Hemingway Day

Start your day walking through one of the most important and historic cemeteries in Latin America only to make your way that afternoon to arguably the most notable restaurant on the island: La Bodeguita del Medio. Then a visit to Hemingway’s room at Ambos Mundos before a dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 3: Viñales

An early departure from Havana will end you up in the city of Viñales. In 1999, the Viñales Valley was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to some very interesting sites in Cuba. Your tour today will consist of all things Viñales has to offer. Most notably: The Cave of the Indian, tobacco factories and a dispalillo, and even the Mural of Prehistory. A visit to Viñales wouldn’t be complete without ending the trip on a horseback ride!

Return to Havana. Stop in the Mirador of Hotel Los Jazmines + cocktail.

Day 4: Matanzas

Every day begins with a rich breakfast at the hotel and then today you will depart to Matanzas and later to Varadero. Matanzas is known for its culture and Afro-Cuban history. You will be able to see that history through the elegant architecture as you explore the city. You’ll even see a castle from 1734!

Enjoy a cocktail.

In Matanzas by choice:
Visit to San Severino Castle: First and most important building of the city of Matanzas since its foundation. (1734). One of the Marvels of Matanzas Architecture. Typical Renaissance military construction.

Day 5: Varadero

You journey in Varadero will be stunning from beginning to end. After your breakfast, you will visit the Caves of Saturn where you can get up close and personal with nature. You’ll be able to swim and snorkel and really experience all parts of life in Cuba. Your cave adventure will continue all day, so get ready to go even deeper into Cuba.

Day 6: Cienfuego

On your way to Cienfuego you will be able to visit the site of an important piece of the Cuba-USA relationship: the Bay of Pigs, as well as visit the museum in Playa Girón. After a beautiful panoramic tour and checking into your hotel, you’ll get to enjoy an unforgettable dinner at the Palacio de Valle restaurant.

Day 7: Trinidad

Trinidad is a beautiful city. You’re time here will leave your camera’s memory full and your eyes bright with all of the beauty. Another UNESCO cultural site, you will visit an important part of Cuban history: the Manaca-Iznaga Tower and museum. It is the Valley of the Sugar Mills and the Manaca-Iznaga tower that still stands, once played a part in directing slave workers.

Day 8: Cienfuegos

It’s your final day in Cuba, but there’s still time to catch a little more history. The Parque Martí is home to many historic buildings and bears the name of an important Cuban: Jose Martí. Then, the Catedral de la Purísima Concepción which was completed in the year 1869! Keep your mind and eyes open to squeeze in as much as you can before you depart from the beautiful island of Cuba.
